Rain Is Stopping Our Church Services — Help Us Build a Home for the Gospel There are moments in ministry that break your heart. Every week people gather with us at Elkana Global Ministries to worship God and hear the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. They come with faith in their hearts—some seeking healing, some seeking hope, some simply longing for a place where they can encounter God. But there is a painful reality behind these gatherings. We do not have a church building. We do not even have land for the ministry. Many times we gather wherever we can—sometimes under temporary shelters, sometimes in open spaces—just so the Word of God can continue to be preached. And then the rain comes. When the rain begins to fall, everything changes. The ground becomes wet, the wind scatters what little equipment we have, and the service has to stop. People who came with expectation slowly walk away because the weather has made it impossible to continue. Imagine coming to church hungry for prayer, desperate for hope, only to return home because the rain has stopped the service. This has happened many times. Yet even through these struggles, the mission of Elkana Global Ministries has never stopped. We continue to preach, to pray, and to reach out to people because we believe the Gospel must go forward no matter the obstacles. But the truth is, the ministry desperately needs help. To continue this work, we need land where we can build a permanent place of worship—a place where people can gather freely without worrying about rain, wind, or weather stopping the service. We also need basic ministry equipment—sound systems, microphones, speakers, and recording machines. These tools will allow us to preach the Gospel clearly and also share the message with many others online who may never physically come to the gathering but still need to hear the Word of God. The work of the Gospel also comes with many expenses—transportation for outreach, maintaining the little equipment we have, and supporting ministry activities for people who come seeking spiritual help.
