Christine Nadunga, Writer and Proprietor of BOLD Minds Africa, is passionate about transforming young lives through the power of books. She is seeking support to fundraise for writing, publishing, printing, and hence donating inspiring books tailored for African Children. Her vision is to boost children's confidence, nurture leadership skills, and fight illiteracy, while building a sustainable reading culture across the continent.
Through this initiative, Christine believes that access to relevant and engaging books can spark curiosity, ignite imagination, and empower children to dream beyond limitations. By donating books to schools, communities, and libraries, she hopes to bridge the literacy gap, inspire the next generation of African leaders, and create a culture where reading is celebrated as a key to personal and societal growth.
Christine has already written and published a number of children's books online (Everland, Overdrive, Amazon, Apple, and etc.) such as My Little Big Dream, The Magic of Reading, The Day I Met My Book, Be Clean, Be Strong, and Called To Rise, showcasing her dedication to nurturing young minds. However, she envisions writing even more impactful stories that reflect African experiences and values. To ensure her work reaches the children who need it most, she seeks to produce and donate physical copies, since targeted audience in rural communities across Uganda in all regions cannot afford books or access digital platforms where her current publications are available. This approach will directly place books into children's hands, ensuring no child is left behind due to financial or technological limitations.
